NUJ congratulates new Radio Kano MD, Hisham Habib

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council, has congratulated the newly-appointed Managing Director of Radio Kano, Malam Hisham Habib, describing the appointment as well-deserved.

This is contained in a congratulatory letter signed by the Chairman of the council, Comrade Abbas Ibrahim, and its Secretary, Comrade Abba Murtala, and circulated to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday.

“We write to congratulate you on your well-deserved appointment as Managing Director of Radio Kano by His Excellency Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

“We are confident that due to your track records you will reposition the 78-year-old Radio Station that has produced ace broadcasters, to its appropriate status,” the union said.

The council pledged to give the new Managing Director the necessary support in his execution of the tasks ahead, and hoped that he would carry his professional colleagues along to achieve the desired goals.

The union then wished him Allah’s guidance “and everything Good in your new assignment.”
