NUJ Hails Buni Over Restoration of Power Supply in Damaturu

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Yobe State Council has commended the Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon. Mai Mala Buni for ensuring immediate repair and restoration of power in Damaturu, Yobe State capital and its environs.

It could be recalled that recently there was vandalization of the 330 kva towers by unknown persons which threw residents into darkness. The Governor who promptly collaborated with the Federal government, YEDC and REB for the restoration.

The Chairman NUJ Yobe Council Alhaji Rajab Muhammad Isma’il in a statement made available to newsmen in Damaturu on Sunday appreciated all the stakeholders for their efforts.

He urged the residents not to relent efforts in praying for peace and unity in the state.

The NUJ Chair is wishing Christian faithful and other citizens a happy Christmas and New Year celebrations.
