NULGE Commends Jos North Council Chairman for Infrastructural Development

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has praised the Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, John Kyohroh Christopher, for his outstanding leadership and infrastructural development within his first 100 days in office.

According to Thomas Kaze, Branch Chairman of NULGE in Jos North, the council area has undergone significant transformation under Christopher’s administration.

Assistant Chief Information Officer of the Council said, Notable achievements include the remodeling and furnishing of the Legislative Chamber and the establishment of an ICT hub.

Kaze emphasized that NULGE will support leaders who prioritize staff development and create conducive work environments.

He noted that Christopher’s efforts align with the State Local Government Service Commission’s goals and expressed hope that the chairman will continue to carry citizens along in governance.

The union assured Christopher of their unwavering support and cooperation throughout his tenure. Kaze also appealed for more training and retraining programs to enable staff to meet contemporary demands.

Christopher’s administration has been commended for its focus on enhancing growth and development in the locality. The NULGE chairman urged him to remain committed to sustaining the trust of staff and citizens.

The statement however said the development is in line with the Plateau State Government’s emphasis on infrastructural development, which includes completing inherited projects and awarding critical contracts.
