NYSC bids farewell to 2022 Batch C Stream I Corps Members in Yobe

From Sani Gazas Chnade, Damaturu

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on Thursday disengaged the 2022 Batch C Stream I Corps members nationwide, including 318 corps members in Yobe State.

The corps members, comprising 223 males and 95 females, passed out in a low-key ceremony held at local government levels in the state.

The State Coordinator of NYSC in Yobe, Mrs. Hafsat Yerima, represented by Assistant Director HRM Mr. Mairiga Bakah, congratulated the corps members for a successful service year.

She urged them to be good ambassadors of the scheme wherever they go and to put into good use the various skills they acquired through the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training rather than waiting for white-collar jobs that are no longer available.

The high point of the occasion was the distribution of certificates of national service to the corps members.
