PDP Swallows Opposition parties in Shira Local Government – L G Boss

The acting Chairman of Shira Local Government of Bauchi State,Alh Babangida Maliya said people of Shira Local Government Area belongs to PDP, not unlike before, were opposition party has a stronghold.

Alh Babangida Maliya stated this during an interactive session with newsmen at party’s secretariat in Shira.

He said when assumed duty as the acting Chairman of the area focused on imploring ways of improving lives of the people by providing infrastructural development, Health care delivery, educational sector revamp and improving security and commercial activities.

Babangida Maliya also said in the past the local government secretariat was deserted,as a result of insecurity, but now is always lively as more building were constructed and office equipment equally provided.

Maliya commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad of Bauchi State by embarking on gigantic projects in the state, which led to be given mandate to serve for the second term and also ensure that acting Chairmen of 20 local government areas provide dividend of democracy to their people.

Maliya further called on the people of the state to support Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad by rally round all the developmental projects so as to take the state to a greater heights.
