Plateau APC Factional Chairman discredits Primaries of Rufus Bature, files Motion in court

Factional Chairman of All Progressives Party APC, in Plateau State, Ishaya Itse, has described the Primaries that Produced Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda under the leadership of Rufus Bature as Illegal, as Motion On Notice At Appeal Court has been filed.
Ishaya Itse dusclosed this while addressing Journalists during a press conference held on 11th November 2023 in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
The leadership tusle over the Chairmanship position of the APC which seems to be taking a dramatic turn as the Factional Chairman of the party in the state, Ishaya Itse insisted that he remained the authentic Chairman of the party.
He described Rufus Bature as an imposter and also Illegally parading himself as Chairman of the APC.
“As the party Factional Chairman, the primaries election of the party conducted by the self acclaim Chairman of the party Rufus Bature which produced Dr. Nentawe Yilwada as Governship Candidate is null and void which doesn’t exist in the eyes of the law” said Ishaya.
Itse promised to stop at nothing, but to pursue the injustice meted on him and his authentic Exco’s through the instrumentality of the court to a logical conclusion and ensure that justice is done
While congratulating the Immediate past Governor of the state who is also the Minister of labour and employment, Simon Lalong, John Daafan, and others over their victory at the court of Appeal Abuja, Commended the jurists that delivered the judgement whom he described as fearless who believed they have to pass the judgement with human face irrespective of whose ox is gore.
However adviced the party APC not to celebrate over their victories at the Appeal Court against PDP yet, explaining that APC is still having plethora of court litigations especially his Petition which he has filed has “Motion on Notice” dated 9th November 2023 that had already been served to the Respondents Rufus Bature, APC and other parties in the matter.
Itse further urged the party and its victorious Candidates at the Appeal tribunal that it is not yet “Uhuru” as the party’s court cases pending that are yet to be disposed are undisputable more than that of PDP which is currently in court.
He however adviced his supporters to remain calm and be focused as Justice shall surely be delivered in their favor at the end of the day.
