Plateau Dep. Governor Rejoices With Plateau People Over Supreme Court Victory

Plateau State Deputy Governor, Josephine Piyo, has congratulated the people of Plateau over the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed the victory of her principal Caleb Mutfwang as the duly elected Governor of the State.
Piyo, who thanked the people for standing with the governor, commended them for the unwavering support and trust they placed in the governor and his team.
The Deputy Governor in a statement signed by her Chief Press Secretary, Martha Nyam, also commended the Supreme Court judges for their fairness and commitment to upholding justice, which according to her would further strengthen democratic institutions in the country.
Piyo further commended Gov. Caleb Mutfwang for his doggedness and steadfastness throughout the entire judicial proceedings, adding that his determination remains a shining example of leadership.
Piyo stated that in spite of the distractions caused by legal battles, their administration is focused on delivering good governance to the people at all levels.
She urged the citizens to remain united and harness the collective strength and resilience the state is known for and continue the transformational journey towards a more prosperous state.
