Plateau: Governor Mutfwang commissions buses to ease difficulty in Transportation

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has officially commissioned 20 sienna buses to shuttle Jos to Abuja routes and the launch of mobile booking.

Governor Mutfwang who was represented by his Deputy, Josephine Piyo,at the Plateau riders bus terminal in Jos, Tuesday, disclosed that the commissioning represents a critical step for the pursuit of a robust and improved transport network in the state.

He Maintains that the commissioning of the buses signifies  improvement in connectivity between the two important cities.

Mutfwang explained that modern buses which are equipped with state-of-the-art tracking systems, ensures passenger safety, and providing real-time monitoring of their locations would provide reliable and comfortable transportation options for commuters traveling between Jos and Abuja.

He however said the introduction of a mobile booking app represents a leap forward in embracing digital technology to enhance customer experience and streamline the booking process.

Mutfwang emphasised that the Rebirth Project reflects government’s recognition of the importance of modernizing and improving transportation infrastructure in Plateau State.

This the governor said serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts between the government and private sector to address transportation challenges and drive progress.

It also highlights commitment to supporting initiatives that promote economic growth, job creation, and improved quality of life for the people  of Plateau State.

Mutfwang implored the people of Plateau State to seize the opportunity of the state busses for safety, convenience and luxury.

Earlier the general manager of the Plateau Express Services limited, Samuel Gwott, thanked the Governor for taking priority in revamping the transport sector in the state.

He assured passengers of the restructuring and rebranding efforts which has upgraded their services and also the type of vehicles.

Gwott also thanked Governor Mutfwang for procuring 15 units of MAN DIESEL 46 seater buses.

“This is a palliative and a quick intervention to alleviate the sufferings of the people of Plateau. Tin city metro offers a digitized transport system that is very efficient.” We know
