Plateau Governor Suspends 2 Commissioners, Special Adviser, Laison Officer

Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, has approved the immediate suspension of four key officials.
The affected officials include Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Jamila Tukur, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality.
In a statement signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs Gyang Bere, said
Also affected is Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency.
The suspensions are said to take effect immediately.
In another development the governor has approved minor cabinet reshuffle
of his cabinet to enhance effective service delivery to citizens of the state.
Under the new dispensation, Noel Nkup, the current Commissioner for Water Resources and Energy, will now serve as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development.
Similarly, Bashir Lawandi Datti, who previously held the position of Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, has been reassigned as the Commissioner for Water Resources and Energy.
The statement added that the changes take immediate effect.
