The physical and credential screening exercise for successful candidates in the Nigeria Police Force constable recruitment will be conducted from Monday, March 9 to April 18, 2026 in Adamawa State.
The spokesman of the Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed this in a press statement issued on Thursday in Yola, informing indigenes of the state who successfully completed the online registration for the recruitment process to assemble at Karewa Police Children School, Police Barracks, by 7:00 a.m.
“The Adamawa State Police Command announces the commencement of the Physical and Credential Screening Exercise for Adamawa State indigenes who have successfully completed the online registration for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables.
“The exercise is scheduled to run from Monday, March 9, 2026 to Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Karewa Police Children School, Police Barracks, Yola North by 7:00 a.m. daily,” the statement said.
Accordingly, applicants are directed to appear in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts and white stockings. The command warned that those who fail to comply or report outside their scheduled date will not be considered for screening.
The statement also advised applicants to present their invitation slip, application submission slip, physical screening form, credential screening form, National Identity Number (NIN) printout or card, and academic credentials.
The command urged all applicants to cooperate fully and ensure proper preparation for both physical and credential screening to facilitate a smooth and effective recruitment process.
It could be recalled that the government of President Bola Tinubu has ordered recruitment into the Nigerian military, the police force and other paramilitary establishments in a bid to tackle the deteriorating security situation in the country.
The Nigeria Police Force is expected to enlist a total of fifty thousand (50,000) personnel into the constable cadre.
