President Tinubu Celebrates APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje at 75
Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on the occasion of his 75th birthday.
In a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, President Tinubu commended Dr. Ganduje for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of Kano State and Nigeria.

The President also acknowledged Dr. Ganduje’s long-standing dedication to public service, tracing his career back to his days as a pioneer civil servant in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and as a commissioner in Kano State during the 1990s. Ganduje’s political journey began in 1979 with the defunct National Party of Nigeria (NPN) and continued through his roles as deputy governor and later as governor of Kano State, where he served two consecutive terms from 2015 to 2023.
Under Ganduje’s leadership, Kano State witnessed remarkable progress, with President Tinubu lauding his contributions as both an administrator and politician.
President Tinubu also expressed gratitude for Ganduje’s policy insights and steadfast support, urging him to maintain his passion and dedication to the country’s democratic ideals.
