President Tinubu extends condolences to Mangal, Imam Adigun following losses of wife, mother

In a heartfelt gesture, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expressed his sympathy and condolences to Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal, Chairman of MaxAir and AFDIN Group, on the passing of his wife, Hajiya Aisha Dahiru Mangal, who tragically died over the weekend.

Additionally, President Tinubu also offered his condolences to Dr. Tajudeen Adigun, Chairman of the Council of Imams in the Federal Capital Territory and Chief Imam of Fouad Lababidi Central Mosque, Wuse Zone 3 Abuja, on the loss of his mother, Hajia Aishatu Muhammad Adigun.

Late Hajia Aishatu Adigun passed away on Wednesday and was laid to rest the following day in Offa, Kwara State.

President Tinubu, in his message of condolence to Alhaji Mangal, expressed his deep concern and sadness, stating, “I am deeply saddened by the news of the death of your dear wife, Hajiya Aisha Dahiru Mangal, over the weekend. I understand the immense pain that comes with such a loss. My family and I stand in solidarity with you during this difficult time, and we pray that God Almighty forgives the shortcomings of the deceased and grants you the strength to move forward without her.”

On Sunday, Vice President Kashim Shettima represented President Tinubu and paid a condolence visit to the Mangal family home in Katsina.

In his message to Imam Adigun, President Tinubu offered solace to the Muslim leader, encouraging him to find comfort in the exceptional reputation and exemplary service left behind by his late mother.

President Tinubu concluded his message with a prayer, saying, “May Almighty Allah grant the deceased Aljanna Firdaus.”
