PRIME TIME NEWS Jos Correspondent, Tongnaan, Elected NUJ National Auditor

PRIME TIME NEWS correspondent Tongnaan Dada Bawa has been elected National Auditor of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
Bawa secured the position during a bye-election at the NUJ National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held in Kano State.
Celebrating her victory, PRIME TIME NEWS CEO/Publisher, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, on behalf of the management, commended Bawa’s achievement as a “well-deserved milestone” for the organization.
Shuaibu highlighted her “exemplary leadership qualities,” citing her previous roles as a two-term Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Plateau State Chapter, and NAWOJ Zonal Secretary.
“Her dedication has been evident,” Shuaibu stated. “We urge her to uphold the core values of justice, fairness, equity, and compassion in this new national role.”
The CEO expressed confidence that Bawa will champion initiatives that “add value to Nigerians’ lives, deepen democracy, and promote good governance across the nation.”
Shuaibu concluded by wishing Bawa “strength, wisdom, and sound health” as she assumes her responsibilities as NUJ National Auditor.
