Prof. Gwarzo mourns death of Ex- Prime Minister of Niger, Hama Amadou

The Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has expressed deep shock over the passing away of the former Prime Minister of Niger, Hama Amadou, who died on Wednesday, 23rd October, 2024.

Aged 74, Hama Amadou died at a hospital in Niamey, Niger Republic following an illness.

In a condolence message issued in Kano on Thursday, Prof. Gwarzo described the death of Hama Amadou as a great loss, not only to his immediate family, but to the entire people of Niger.

“I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and associates of the deceased,” Prof. Gwarzo said.

Prof. Gwarzo who described the two-time Prime Minister of Niger, said the deceased was a great politician who contributed to the Socio-economic and political development of Niger,

“Hama Amadou was a great politician who was a two time Prime Minister of Niger and he was also Secretary General of the National Movement for the Development of Society (MNSD-Nassara).

“On behalf of the Management of MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to also extend our heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Niger over this great loss,” Prof. Gwarzo said.

He prayed to the Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with the highest level of Jannah.

Prof. Gwarzo also prayed to Almighty Allah to comfort the family of the deceased and give them the courage to bear the irreparable loss.
