Promoting Professionalism: NUJ inaugurates 7-man media c’ttee in Borno

Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Borno State Council, Comrade Dauda Iliya has today inaugurated a 7-man Media Committee to promote professionalism and the activities of the council.

The inauguration exercise took place at the NUJ Press Centre Maiduguri, Borno State.

While inaugurating the Media Committee, the NUJ Chairman, Borno State Council, Comrade Dauda Iliya said the committee is under the Chairmanship of Francis Okoye, a seasoned journalist and media practitioner with the Leadership Newspaper.

Audu Kurama of AFP, Umaru Yakubu Kirawa of News Central TV, Olatunji Omirin of Daily Trust Newspaper, Ngamarju Jarafu of BRTV and Zainab Yetunde Adams of NTA Maiduguri as well as Dahiru Usman Mshelia of Kanem FM are to serve as Members of the Media Committee.
