Quaan Pan PDP Chairmanship Candidate offer praises to God for protection

A Catholic priest , Reverend Father Edward Daleng has challenged politicians to seek better ways of addressing grievances rather than resorting to attacks.
Speaking at a Thanksgiving Mass in homour of Christopher Audu Manship, the immediate past Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Qua’an Pan Local Government in Plateau on Sunday, Rev. Fr. Daleng stressed that God created everyone in His image and likeness, and it is inhuman to carry arms against one another.
He noted that peaceful coexistence promotes unity , growth and security in the locality.
He called on those who perpetrated the attack to repent and seek forgiveness from God.
The cleric noted that people who seek peace, security and development from government and politicians to focus on delivering these and commended Manship for thanking God for a second chance at life and serving his people.
The PDP Chairmanship candidate, Christopher Audu Manship reaffirmed his commitment to holding no grudges against those who attacked him and called for unity in building the locality. He appreciated Governor Caleb Mutfwang for the opportunity to serve and assured him of his loyalty to the administration and the people.
As Manship marched to the altar alongside citizens and political associates , the atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as the congregation sang hymns and offered prayers, thanking God for sparing him to life and giving him a second chance.
Manship’s humility and willingness to forgive his attackers were evident as he knelt before the altar, with his heart full of thanks and praises.
The thanksgiving Mass was a testament to the power of faith and community , as Manship offer thanks to God.
The celebrant was surrounded by people from all walks of life, united in their desire for peace, security, and development which event marked a new beginning for Manship and the people of Qua’an Pan, a chance to work together towards a brighter future.
With renewed hope and commitment, Manship and his supporters left the church, ready to face the challenges ahead and build a better tomorrow.
Our correspondent recalled that manship was physically attacked by some aggrieved political stalwarts during the recent local government primaries election.
