Quaanpan LGC Chairman kick – off pre season final of peace, unity in Namu

The Executive Chairman of Quaan-Pan Local Government Council, in Plateau State, Hon. Christopher Au Manship, kick-off the pre-season final of the Peace and Unity Cup organized by Namu Forum of Coaches Association.
In a statement signed by Director of Press and Publicity to the the Chairman, Danaan Cletus Sylvanus said the final played between Congo Warriors and Namu Pillars at Government Secondary School Namu football field ended in a tense penalty shootout, with Congo Warriors emerging victorious 8-7 after the match had ended level.
Speaking during the presentation of the Cup to the Congo Warriors, the Chairman, represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Dangwam Raymond, congratulated the winners and the opposing team.
As part of the Chairman’s benevolence, he donated cash to the first position, second position, and the organizers of the competition. He further announced his decision to sponsor the Peace and Unity Cup for the 2025 season and directed the organizers to submit a proposal outlining all the requirements for the competition.
The Chairman urged the Forum to continue promoting unity among the youth, noting that it fosters togetherness and provides opportunities for young people to develop their skills.
In an expression of gratitude, the Forum Chairman, Umar Gattuso, thanked the Chairman for his support, noting that it strengthens the Forum and assures their continued support for Quaan-Pan in various support activities.
He commended the Chairman for his transformative leadership in driving development and sustaining peace in Quaan-Pan.
