Renowned Tech Entrepreneur Engr. Rabiu Aliyu Garo Launches Digital Skills Program for 650 Nigerian Graduates

In a major step toward youth empowerment and economic development, celebrated entrepreneur and tech advocate, Engr. Rabiu Aliyu Garo, has launched an ambitious initiative to train 650 Nigerian graduates in digital skills and business development.

The program, spearheaded through the ADG Care Foundation, seeks to bridge the widening tech skills gap and foster entrepreneurship across the country.

Recently honored as an Icon for Societal Development by the Students Union in Nigeria, Engr. Garo is best known as the CEO of Syrol Technologies Limited, where he has been pioneering tech skills training since 2019.

His new initiative is an expansion of his long-standing commitment to youth development, having already trained over 878 individuals in Lagos over the past five years.

The newly launched program covers eight core areas: software development, artificial intelligence, financial marketing, film making and video editing, graphic design, digital marketing, content creation, and leadership. The comprehensive curriculum is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and tools for success in the digital economy.

“By investing in young minds, we’re investing in Nigeria’s future,” said Engr. Garo. “This program isn’t just about training—it’s about creating leaders and innovators who will shape the next generation of African technology and enterprise.”
