According to Ibrahim, this action follows media reports on World Water Day highlighting the dire drinking water shortage faced by the residents of Kyalin Bula in Danzabuwa Constituency, Bichi Local Government Area.

The data reveals years of water scarcity, forcing residents to trek over two kilometers for water, hindering children’s access to education.

Responding to their plight, Senator Barau Jibrin Maliya, representing Kano North and the Deputy Senate President, instructed the installation of solar wells to alleviate the issue.

This initiative spearheaded by Senator Barau Jibril promises to significantly ameliorate the drinking water crisis in the region.
