Sen. Binos Distributes 1,152 bags of Fertilizers to Constituents in Adamawa

Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe of Adamawa Southern Senatorial district has procured and distributed 1,152 bags of fertilizer to farmers in the nine local government areas of his constituency.

This supportive gesture of distributing the fertilizer to his constituents free of charge has been the third phase (series) since the beginning of this year’s farming season which cut across the nine local councils including; Numan, Lamurde, Ganye, Toungo, Guyuk, Demsa, Shelleng, Mayo-belwa and Jada respectively.

Flagging off the distribution of the fertilizers to the rural farmers (constituents) in Mayo-Belwa local government area, Tuesday Senator Yaroe said that the gesture was a fulfilment of his campaign promise of being there for his people in thin and thick.

Represented by his legislative aide, Mr. Katawan Boniface, Senator Yaroe stated that it became imperative for him to come out with measures on how to put smiles on the faces of his constituents in all situations at hand.

Yaroe explained that the nine (9) local government areas situated in the southern Senatorial were given 128 bags of fertilizer each out of the 1,152 bags procured during the third series of the constituency farming support.

He appealed to his constituents to be patient and hopeful as effective structures are already on ground in the provision of dividends of democracy to them right from the Ward level to ensure the targeted rural farmers benefit.

He pointed out that peasant farmers across all political parties in the constituency were selected to benefit from the distribution so that many can be reach out to at least once at a time.

“Each of the LGA got 128 bags of fertilizer for inward distribution to local farmers across rural communities. No fewer than 1,152 bags of fertilizer were distributed in this third phase which would be utilized by the farmers as the rainy season unfolds.

“We would continue to reach out to our constituents with farm implements and other palliatives in order to cushion the effect of the current high cost of living in the country”. Senator pledged.

In their separate responses,the representatives of the beneficiaries from the nine local councils after receiving 128 bags of the fertilizers expressed gratitude to the people’s Senator Binos Yaroe for the kind gesture at the right time.

They announced that stakeholders at the local government level have formed an acceptable distribution committees for onward transmission to the real farmers who are the beneficiaries of the exercise.

They however promised to always be on the side of the Senator where ever he goes on the political landscape of the state or national level just to appreciate the numerous programmes he  unveiled for the benefit of his constituents and development of Adamawa Southern Senatorial District.

Our Correspondent reported that the distribution exercise was conducted orderly and transparently to the admiration of all representatives from the nine council areas in the state.
