Senator Simon Bako Lalong, representing Plateau South Senatorial District, has charged the newly inaugurated Board and Management of the North Central Development Commission to work towards visible performance for the good of the people.

Senator Lalong, who led a high-powered delegation to the inauguration in a statement signed by his Special Adviser Media Dr Makut Macham, expressed happiness that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu kept faith with his Renewed Hope Agenda to fast-track even development across the country. He described the choice of Board and Management teams for the Regional Development Commissions as well-qualified to excel.

On the North Central Development Commission, Lalong praised the choice of Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil as Managing Director, citing his track record of performance and excellence. He charged Dr. Tsenyil to provide leadership that will put the NCDC on a sound footing to deliver on its mandate.

The Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, said the inauguration marks a fulfillment of President Tinubu’s vision to close development gaps within Nigeria’s regions. He challenged the appointees to be proactive and prudent in managing resources.

Other dignitaries, including Alhaji Uba Maigari and Chairmen of Senate and House Committees on Development Commissions, also congratulated the appointees and urged them to deliver on their mandates.
