Sen. Pam Commends Governor Mutfwang on Developmental Strides in One Year

Senator representing Plateau north Senatorial Zone, Pam Dachungyang has commended Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang on developmental strides in one year in office.
Sen Dachungyang made the commendation while Speaking to Journalists in Jos, he attributed that the projects executed by the Mutfwang administration is commendable within one year of his tenure in office.
While noting that the Governor inherited lots of debts from the previous administration, Dachungyang expressed gladness that Mutfwang has been able to properly manage the affairs of the state.
“His Excellency Governor Mutfwang
came at the time that the state was passing through a lot of challenges, I would say trials. But as a man of focus, he tried his best to put himself in order to see how he can handle those challenges, he prioritize those challenges. And today, I will tell you he has tried his best to do what is ought to be done as a leader.”
“We are all aware that he met a huge debt of salary arrears, but am aware that he has settled that, and performed well in projects execution.” He noted.
Sen Dachungyang, called for total support of his constituents, irrespective of political party affiliation to enable him achieve set goals, which he said is geared towards development for the benefit of all.
On his relationship with the Senate President, Sen Godwill Akpabio, and the rest of the Senators, Sen Pam said Akpabio is a just man.
“Senate President Akpabio do not shortchange anyone of his or her due enrollments.
He explained that the Senate president is a serious and concise person that does his duty in accordance with the rule of law.
Speaking on the time frame to learn the adopted national Anthem, Sen. Dachungyang, said the time frame given by the National Orientation Agency NOA for all Nigerians to adopt and learn how to recite the newly adopted national Anthem signed into Law by President Bola Tinubu, was rather too short.
“In my opinion, the few days frame given by the National Orientation Agency for Nigerians to learn in reciting the new national Arnhem is too small, because most Nigerians who are less than 50 years might not be conversant with the anthem; though the anthem might seems to be old, but it’s new to most Nigerians, therefore more time should be given.”
He gave reasons for the adoption of the said national anthem; according to him, it might reunite Nigerians to see themselves as brother and sisters.
