Senator Wali Distributes Over N5 Million, Foods Items to Constituents

The Senator representing Jigawa North-West Senator Babangida Hussain has donated  food items and the sum of N5,080,000 to his constituents across 127 political wards.

This was contained in a statement signed by his media Aide, Mukhtar Babura Babann Fati and made available to news men.

The statement said, the gesture is in honour of the holy month of Ramadan aimed at supporting Muslim Ummah in all the Wards of his Constituency.

According to the statement, the sum of N40,000 was distributed to 127 political wards across the 12 local government areas of his senatorial zone.

The statement maintained that, each political ward recieved  food items that include 18 bags of rice, 27 bags of Corn flour and ₦40,000 per ward.

Meanwhile, in appreciation of the lenting season that is being observed by Christians Globally, the Senator also allocated 30 bags of rice to be shared among christians in his senatorial zone.

The gesture extended to the Christians Community through the Christian support Forum who delivered 28 bags of the Rice to the CAN Chairman Rev. Father Matthew while two bags where shared to some vulnerable people from both Religion as way of promoting unity and love.

According to the statement, the 28 bags of rice are to be shared as: Kazaure 14 bags Roni and Gwiwa two bags each Ringim five bags and Gumel recieved seven bags.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Father Matthew Chafa appreciated the Senator for the support he has been giving to Christians Community and for his good representation of His people.

He then urged other wellbeing people to emulate senator Wali for better development in the state.
