Seyi Tinubu represents Nigerian youth well, both home, abroad – Northern group
Northern youths, under the platform of the Youth Alliance for Northern Development, have praised the president’s son, Oluwaseyi Tinubu, describing him as a true representative of Nigerian youths both at home and abroad.
The group made the remarks ahead of a dinner and outreach event being organized in Kano to celebrate Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday.
Speaking on the upcoming event, the Convener, Hon. Seyi Olorunsola, said the celebration would feature a series of activities, including special prayers, the distribution of educational materials to students, and a colourful dinner at the Hilton Palace Banquet Hall on Friday.
According to him, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abdullahi Yusuf Atah, will attend the event as the special guest and will also inaugurate the distribution of the materials in honour of Seyi Tinubu.
Olorunsola said the gesture was a way to appreciate the contributions of the president’s son to youth development and philanthropy across the country.
“Mr. Seyi Tinubu is our ambassador; he represents Nigerian youths very well, both at home and abroad,” Olorunsola said.
“He has inspired many of us not because he is the president’s son, but because of his humility, generosity, and commitment to youth empowerment.”
He added that despite his privileged background, Seyi Tinubu continues to reach out to others and contribute to community development through various initiatives.
“He doesn’t rely on his father’s position or wealth, You see him working on his own ideas, associating freely, and supporting young people across Nigeria.”
Olorunsola said that at 40, Seyi Tinubu has done remarkably well for himself and deserves to be celebrated for his contributions to the youth and the nation.
“He’s a youth icon and an inspiration to many. His achievements at this age show that young Nigerians can also make a difference,” he said.
