Sheikh Aminu Daurawa Garners Most Facebook Followers Among Northern Nigerian Islamic Scholars

Prominent Islamic scholar Sheikh Aminu Daurawa has emerged as the most followed figure among his peers on Facebook within the northern region of Nigeria.

This information comes to light following an investigation conducted by Yax Mokwa, a commentator on current affairs based in Niger State.

Mokwa’s research, which surveyed 15 prominent Islamic scholars in the region, revealed that Sheikh Daurawa, who also serves as Commander-General of Hizba in Kano State, currently boasts over 1.4 million followers on the social media platform.

In his words, Yax Mokwa said, “Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa holds the foremost position among Northern Nigerian Scholars/Clerics (Preachers) with the largest following on Facebook as of 23 February 2024. Facebook is evidently where they all have their largest followers.”
