Special Duties Commissioner vows support for empowerment of Kano repentant thugs

Kano State Commissioner on Special Duties, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani H.O.D, has affirmed her commitment to supporting the empowerment initiatives for repentant thugs in the state.

The commissioner highlighted the positive outcomes of a recent hangout session with the state Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.

During an advocacy visit to her office by Zainab Nasir Ahmad, the Executive Director of Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Disease and Social Vices (YOSPIS), Hajiya Amina praised Governor Abba for his inclusive governance, embracing progressive ideas across various sectors such as education, health, security, and commercial activities.

Assuring a dedicated focus on empowering repentant thugs, Hajiya Amina stated, ‘Governor Abba is working tirelessly on a robust empowerment scheme that will resonate nationally.’

She further emphasized her office’s commitment to ensuring that the governor fulfills promises made to these youth, transforming them into positive contributors to society.

Zainab Nasir Ahmad expressed gratitude during the courtesy visit, commending the commissioner for her selfless services to the youth and prompt responses to pertinent issues.

She urged Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to honor his commitment to empower the repentant thugs, echoing the aspirations voiced during the hangout session at Kofar Mata Stadium last month.
