SWAN Kano Congratulates Barau FC Kano on NLO Promotion Play Off Victory

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Kano State Chapter has congratulated Barau FC Kano on their impressive victory in the New Year Mega Lottery (NYML) NLO Promotion Play Off.

This was contained in a statement signed by Muzammil Dalha Yola, Assistant Secretary of SWAN Kano State Chapter, on behalf of the Chairman and issued to newsmen on Sunday night

According to the statement, SWAN Kano praised Barau FC Kano for their 3-2 penalty shoot-out win over Yoca Crocodiles FC Kaduna, following a 1-1 draw at the Goal Project in Abuja.

The association commended the club’s proprietor, DSP Barau, for his financial and moral support, as well as the Chairman, Ibrahim Shitu, for his leadership and managerial skills. The coaches and players were also praised for their dedication and hard work.

“This victory marks a significant milestone in the club’s history and sets the stage for future success in the Nigerian National League (NNL)” the statement added.

SWAN Kano believes that this achievement showcases the immense talent and potential within Kano State and is confident that Barau FC Kano will continue to make the state proud and inspire future generations of footballers.
