SWAN Northeast Congratulates Newly Elected NUJ Executives

The Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Northeast extends its congratulations to the newly elected President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Alhassan Yahaya, and his team following the successful conclusion of the 8th Triennial National Conference held at the Rock View Hotel in Owerri, Imo State on November 27, 2024.

In a statement issued and signed by the Vice President of SWAN Northeast zone, Comrade Ahmed Kagana Amshi, the election of Alhassan Yahaya is well-deserved, considering his impressive track record within the NUJ fraternity nationwide.

Comrade Ahmed Amshi praised Yahaya’s dedication to the field of journalism and his unwavering commitment to upholding the rights and welfare of journalists across the country.
