Tanker Explosion Kills over 90 in Jigawa
A petrol tanker exploded, killing over 90 people and injuring 50 in Jigawa State.
Police officials confirmed this on Wednesday.
The explosion took place along the Kano-Hadejia expressway in Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa state.
Police Spokesman Lawan Adam informed that the incident began late Tuesday night and continued until 3:15 am on Wednesday.
Adam stated that the explosion triggered a massive fire.
