Troops Neutralise 10 Terrorists, Recover Weapons Near Cameroon Border

The Nigerian army troops of Operation Hadin Kai and the Troops of Multi National Joint Task Force conducting sustained clearance operations in the Southern Lake Chad Basin have neutralised 10 terrorists during a firefight along the Rann–Gamboru Ngala axis, close to Nigeria’s border with Cameroon.

Sources confirmed to Zagazola Makama that the encounter occurred during a combing operation aimed at flushing out remnants of insurgents operating within border communities.
