Tubless Hosts Maiden Arewa Photography & Make-up Show in Northern Nigeria

Nigeria, a nation brimming with artistic talent, is witnessing a surge in creative innovation, showcasing a diverse range of skilled individuals from all corners of the country. At the forefront of this creative revolution is the “Arewa Talent Photography and Make-up Show”
The maiden edition which was nurtured and championed under leadership of Nasiru Rabi’u Tubless, the CEO of Tubless Media Concept who equally doubles as the Chairman of Entrepreneurs Channel, has set a new standard for talent shows in Africa.
The event which was organized by Entrepreneurs Channel was heavily supported by Tubless Media Concept and was hosted on Tuesday, 28th November 2023, at Waterfall Event Centre, Kano.
Unlike other talent competitions that focus solely on entertainment, the Arewa Talent Photography and Make-up Show embraces a broader spectrum of talents, including photography exhibitions, live makeup demonstrations, magic performances, poetry readings, comedy skits, and more. This diversity of talents ensures that every aspect of the show is captivating and awe-inspiring.
Despite being in its infancy, the inaugural edition of the Arewa Talent Photography and Make-up Show garnered immense attention, attracting thousands of enthusiastic attendees to the Waterfall event centre in Kano. The event also garnered a significant online following, with thousands of viewers tuning in from across Nigeria and beyond.
The event’s special guest of honour, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, the President of MAAUN Group of School, described the occasion as “the most captivating talent show in Africa.” He also commended the contestants for their unique talents and urged the youth to embrace creativity and innovation.
Professor Gwarzo further enriched the event by launching the show’s calendar with a generous donation of 2 million naira. He also surprised the audience by offering a fully funded scholarship to Beelal Bila, a popular content creator, to pursue a degree at Maryam Abacha American University.
The show’s highlights included awarding Abdulwahab Sa’id Ahmad (Blue Lens Multimedia) the title of “Best Photojournalist in Northern Nigeria” for his ability to capture and convey social issues through his photography. Balancy Photography, a prominent name in the photography industry, also received recognition for its innovative work.
In his remarks, His Highness Dr. Aminu Wada Panda described the event as a “memorable and remarkable experience.”
Nasiru Rabi’u Tubless, the event organizer and CEO of Tubless Media Concept and Entrepreneurs Channel, expressed his gratitude to all the attendees and assured them that the next edition of the Arewa Talent Photography and Make-up Show would be even more spectacular.
