Alhaji Umar Lauya Hardawa, a prominent youth leader from Misau Local Government, Bauchi State, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of National President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in the forthcoming 2025 National Congress.
In a statement made available to the public, Hardawa expressed gratitude to stakeholders and fellow youths who encouraged him to vie for the position, citing his past achievements in youth leadership and political participation.
“My decision to heed this clarion call by my fellow youth comes as a result of the stakeholders’ decision to zone the National Chairman seat to the Northeast. I am honored by the overwhelming support and trust placed in me,” he said.
