VC Karl Kumm University Prof. Gambo task staff to be dedicated to promoting educational ideology

Vice Chancellor of the  Karl Kumm University Vom, Plateau State, Prof. Nanven Audu Gambo, has called on the staff of the institution to be dedicated to promoting educational ideology of producing responsible graduates that can serve the country, Nigeria. 

The Vice Chancellor made the call while declaring closed a two – day orientation program organised for the staff of the university.

He encouraged them to be discipline and transparent in their various workplace to move the the institute forward. 

In a statement signed by the protocol and information officer of the university, Bulus Gambo, quoted the Vice Chancellor saying, ” While the management is putting its best to create an enabling environment for the staff to work, they must justify these investments through hard work and transparency in their work place”.

Earlier, the Registrar of the university, Benjamin Dachomo, explained that the program would go a long way in educating the staff of their obligations and responsibilities to the institution for greater heights. 

He however expressed gratitude to the VC and the various resources persons who positively contributed towards the success of the orientation program and its relevance for the progress of the University. 

In his paper presentation, director of academic planning, Karl Kumm University, Prof. John Mawak said leadership at both academic and administrative levels play a crucial role in shaping the the strategic direction, culture and effectiveness of universities. 

He however disclosed that effective leadership foster innovation, collaboration and ensures the attainment of international goals for greater productivity
