We Are Committed To Supporting Gov. Buni’s Education Reforms – Yobe Teachers

In their efforts to supporting Reforms aimed at Basic Education Level, the Nguru LGEA stakeholders in the Education Sector including all Head Teachers and Principals of GDJSS held a free school resumption meeting where they review areas of their strength and weakness with intention of consolidating the gain made in the first and second terms.

According to the Yobe State official school Calender all pupils of public as well as private school are to resume back to school on Monday, the 29th April 2024.

During the meeting, so many issues were discussed as a result series of solution were also proper in order to alleviating the issues rise.

Among them, the need to install discipline among the errand staff of LGEA, improve working relationship among the critical stakeholders staff of LGEA, need to have Staff Discipline Committee among others.

The Head Teachers and Principals of the GDJSS through their Leadership, Garba Badamasi, Mallam Waziri Abba assured continues support toward improved service delivery.

On his part, the Ag. Education Secretary, Mallam Hamisu Ado urged the Head Teachers and Principals to show more commitment after appreciating Government efforts toward improving their welfare.

Adding, “Government has upset your outstanding promotion implementation at same time promise to do more for your welfare there is the need for all of you to do more to justify the confidence we reposed on you”.
