Who will the cap fit in 2027: Likely contenders of the Adamawa Governorship race

A Yola-based blogger on his blog wrote on the above subject matter dated 17th November.2023, where he tries to project the most likely governorship contenders to emerge for the exalted seat of the governor in Adamawa state in the 2027 election featuring names of the Incumbent secretary of the Adamawa state government, SSG, Hon.Auwal Tukur, the Commissioner of Works and housing development, Hon.Adamu Atiku Abubakar, Mr.Morris Bonobolki and the immediate past speaker state Assembly and now Senator of the Adamawa Central zone, Hon.Iya Abbas respectively.

The said blogger used his sense of judgement to x-ray all the four hand-picked politicians ranging from their biography, political contributions, weaknesses and chances of winning or otherwise in the next dispensation come 2027 but something fundamental came to mind which can make any right-thinking human to wonders the rationale behind such untimely and attention seeking write up because we just had national elections last seven (7) months ago where the new governments at the Federal and state level are yet settled down for full administrative work.

Another area of concern and serious observation is the personality of the Commissioner of Works and Housing Development, Adamu Atiku Abubakar whose target remains to support Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration in providing the dividends of democracy to the people for now.

Sources close to the humble and focused commissioner (Adamu) revealed that his main goal now is to make sure the assignments assigned to him are done diligently according to specifications so that posterity will be favourable to him noting that the young Atiku’s energy and concentration are on how to deliver always not periscoping 2027.

“Honestly Adamu is down to earth in terms of social and personal perspective and he always gives attention to where people can have relief or modest satisfaction in their desires. What is on the table now is to deliver the onerous assignment given to him not 2027.

“Adamu is a goal-getter and always takes one thing at a time, just to get a laudable result but the blogger just dragged his name into future politics rather than highlighting his massive contributions in turning the state into an urban or modern feat courtesy of Manning the ministry for works and housing”.The sources stated.

On the personality and legacies of his father and former Vice president Atiku Abubakar as raised by the blogger in his piece as a yardstick to power come 2027, Is good for a writer to understand that, is only God and time that can attest to everyone’s destiny.

Atiku’s heights in life are favoured and forced to reckon with not only in the political landscape of the country but the entire globe due to his business outlets which have earned recognition hence Adamu is also Almighty God who knows what he would become in the future as all indices are showing favourable signals of seeing light at the end of tunnel. ONLY TIME CAN TELL….

Adamu as a grassroots politician is touching so many lives down the ladder in so many ways.
