World Contraceptive day: Child spacing improve Socioeconomic development – Dr Kainuwa

The Jigawa state commissioner of health Dr Abdullahi Kainuwa said, efficient child spacing, improve Maternal and health as well as contribute to sustainable socioeconomic development.
The commissioner, disclosed this while delivering his speech to Mark the celebration of 2023 world Contraceptive day held at Ministry of Health conference Hall in new Secretariat Dutse.
Dr Kainuwa who described the significance of family planning as cornerstone of public health and development said, the world Contraceptive day is celebrating on September 26th of every year.
According to him, access to a variety of Contraceptive options enables individuals to efficiently do child spacing, improve Maternal and child health, and contribute to sustainable socioeconomic development.
He maintained that, the Jigawa ministry of health is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable and quality healthcare services to the people of Jigawa state.
“The ministry of health is working tirelessly to improve the overall health and well-being of the state’s residents, with focus on family planning and reproductive health as essential components of comprehensive healthcare delivery”, he said.
He then encourage all citizens of Jigawa state to take advantage of of the”power options” by seeking information and services related to family planning.
While speaking on behalf of partners in the state, comrade Mustapha Kurfi, commended present administration for providing conducive atmosphere for Non Governmental Organizations in the state to operate.
