World First Aid Day 2023: JNI Aid group seek Federal, State Agencies collaboration

The Nigerian Aid group of Jama’atu Nasril Islam have seek Collaboration with Federal and States Agencies to work together towards having modern first Aids practice

National Secretary of the Aid group Alhaji Aminu Mabera Galadima Said ” the Collaboration become necessary with the view of having global practices towards serving life which is the key objectives of any Aid group.

Represented by Tanimu Muhammad, assistant secretary of Nigerian Aid group/Jama’atu Nasril Islam, explained that this year theme “First Aid in the digital world,”

He highlighted some of the activities of the group, Crowd and Traffic Control, Emergency and Rescue operations, Environmental sustainability, General Humanitarian Services, First aid training” 

Earlier in his remarks at the occasion,the state Chairman of the Nigerian Aid group, Alhaji ldris Mohammed,”First Aid practice is the mother humanitarian Services in the World as is dedicated to saving life’s before the arrival of an ambulance or taking a patients to the hospital or Medical Doctors.

He  draw the attention of gathering to the history lane,”This day was established by international Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies on the Second Week of September 2000.

He disclosed that “Since then it is observed globally every year to appreciate the world first Aider’s for their sacrifice to save many innocent lives.Nigerian Aid Group of Islam, Jama’atu Nasril Islam Kaduna state branch joined the world first aid societies this year to celebrate this day as its a special day to all of us.

“History of World first aid initiated back to ancient Islamic time when people adopted natural remedies to treat injuries and illnesses, However, the emergence of Islam and its teaches encourage and developed the service to humanity and key into first aid program during the time of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him over 400 years since then the practice of Islamic medicine and first aid practices continued with the name Aid group of Islam,

“While in the 19th century Henry Dunant a swiss industrialist founded the international Committee of the Red Cross and firmly believed that everyone, regardless of Nationality or affiliation deserved unlimited access to emergency medical care.
