Secretary.
“This year’s observance underscores the urgent need to ensure equitable access to quality healthcare services, particularly for vulnerable and underserved populations. It serves as a timely reminder that no individual or community should be left behind in the pursuit of better health outcomes.
KADHAMA reaffirms its unwavering commitment to advancing health awareness, strengthening advocacy efforts, and supporting improved healthcare delivery across Kaduna State. We believe that a resilient health system is essential for social and economic progress.
We commend the efforts of government institutions, healthcare professionals, development partners, volunteers, and community actors who continue to work tirelessly to improve health indicators despite prevailing challenges.
Health is a fundamental human right. Therefore, increased and sustained investment in healthcare systems, infrastructure, and human resources remains critical. We call on relevant authorities to intensify efforts toward strengthening healthcare infrastructure and ensuring the availability of affordable, accessible, and quality services for all citizens.
KADHAMA further advocates for expanded access to essential health services, with particular emphasis on maternal, newborn, and child healthcare, as well as preventive and primary healthcare interventions.
Promoting healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and community-based health education must remain central to our collective efforts. We encourage active community engagement and participation in health initiatives as a pathway to building a culture of health consciousness and shared responsibility.
As we mark World Health Day, KADHAMA reiterates its readiness to collaborate with all stakeholders to advance policies and actions that will guarantee improved health outcomes for the people of Kaduna State and beyond.
