Yobe Promotes 1,000 Teachers

The Executive Chairman of the Yobe State Teaching Service Board, Alhaji Yakubu Dokshi, has announced the promotion of 1,000 teaching staff to various levels and grades across the state.
“I am happy to announce that a total of 1,000 teaching staff across our various schools have been promoted,” he stated.
According to a press release issued by Fatima Zakari Baba, the Information Officer of the Yobe State Teaching Service Board, the chairman made this revelation during a management meeting of the agency in Damaturu.
Alhaji Yakubu Dokshi explained that the promotion exercise is part of the Buni administration’s commitment through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education to enhancing teachers’ performance for improved service delivery in schools.
He reaffirmed the board’s dedication to supporting and motivating teachers to ensure they effectively carry out their responsibilities.
Dokshi also commended Governor Mai Mala Buni and the Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education for their unwavering commitment to advancing education in the state.
