Yobe Ready To Host 38th National Qur’anic Competition – Education Commissioner

Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State, is buzzing with activity as the countdown to the 38th National Qur’anic Recitation Competition begins.
Preparations are in full swing, promising a grand event set to commence on Friday at the August 27 Stadium.
Dr. Sani Idriss, the Honorable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education and Chairman of the organizing committee, led a team that included Ustaz Babagana Kyari, the Special Adviser on Religious Affairs to Governor Mai Mala Buni, on a thorough inspection of the state capital’s readiness to host participants from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Dr. Idriss, visibly impressed by the progress, expressed his satisfaction with the level of preparedness. “I am very pleased with the dedication and hard work of all committee members”
“We are confident that we will deliver a memorable competition that showcases the beauty and importance of Qur’anic recitation” he said.
