YOSPIS Appoints Barr. Nura as Vice Chairman, Welcomes New Reference Group Members

Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Social Vices (YOSPIS) has announced the appointment of Barrister Nura Ahmad Muhammad as its new Vice Chairman, along with several other distinguished individuals joining its Reference Group.

The announcement was made by YOSPIS Executive Director Zainab Nasir Ahmad during the second edition of the organization’s inauguration ceremony for Reference Group Members.

“Working with our esteemed Reference Group Members has been a tremendous asset to YOSPIS. Their guidance and expertise have contributed immensely to our successes in Kano and beyond” Ms. Ahmad stated.

She emphasized YOSPIS’ commitment to empowering youth and advocating for their needs, saying: “As a youth-led organization, we stand for young people without boundaries. We strive to pave the way for innovation and development in our society.”

The newly appointed Reference Group members were carefully chosen based on their merit and dedication to YOSPIS’ mission. They include: Aisha Dan fullo, safiya Auwal, zahrau Gambo.
