Yuletide: NSCDC Deploys 2,576 Personnel In Kano

Arising from strategic meeting held with Heads of department, Area commanders as well as *44* divisional offices of the command, the State Commandant, NSCDC Kano command, Comdt Mohammed Lawal Falala, fcna, has charged officers and men to brace up and ensure water tight security during/after Christmas and New festivities in the State.

This is contained in a statement Signed by DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO Kano command.

The state Commandant has since approved the deployment of 2,576 personnel billed to be posted to strategic places ranging from christians worship centres and recreational spots for hitch free celebration of the Yuletide period.

“Moreso, special security attention will also be given to critical national assets and infrastructure; not unmindful also of other security challenges that could come up during the period.

Officers and men of the command who were tasked to maintain vigilance, will work in Collaboration with personnel of the Nigerian Police for security and as well liaise with operatives of the federal road safety Corp, KAROTA and other sister security agencies for free flow of traffics during and after the festive period.”
