Zamfara Dep. Governor pledges support for Gummi flood victims

Zamfara State Deputy Governor, Malam Mani Mumuni has pledged most needed support from the state government for the victims who have been devasted by the last Friday flood disaster.
Malam Mani, who paid a visit to Gummi emir’s palace to commiserate with the victims and the same time for assessment of the damage caused by the flood, said the state government will do everything humanly possible to assist the victims.
According to the reports served with the Deputy Governor in Falale village, 452 houses were destroyed, while 375 houses were submerged in Bardoki and 274 households were affected by the flood disaster.
403 houses were destroyed in Uyalenge village and 272 households were extremely affected by the disastrous development.
In Kurfa village, 225 houses were destroyed, affecting 172 households, while at Gamo, 271 houses were destroyed and 181 households have been rendered homeless.
