Zamfara: Sustain inculcated teachings of Ramadan, Yari Political Organization charges muslims

Muslim faith have been urged to sustain the virtues learnt during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Chairman, Sen. Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari Political Organization, Alhaji Lawal M Liman (Gabdon Kaura) has during the closing ceremony of the 2024 Ramadan Tafsir urged Muslim to sustain the virtues they have learnt within the holy month of Ramadan.
M. Liman made the call during the annual closing ceremony of the holy Quran Tafsir at the Mosque of his residence in Kaura Namoda town, Kaura Namoda Local Government Areas of Zamfara state.
Special prayers were observed for restoration of peace in the state and for the Sen. Abdul’aziz Yari by various Islamic scholars over his various assistance he rendered aimed to uplifting the teeming less-privileged families in the state.
He further noted that the virtues of Ramadan to include, forgiveness, pity, philanthropy, patience, honesty and tolerance among others as contained in the holy Quran.
The APC Chieftain who doubles as the State Chairman, Sen Yari’s Ramadan Welfare Committee, described Yari’s gesture to the less-privileged in the Holy month as timely considering the current economic challenges in the country.
“A total of 250,000 households received the gesture across the state.
He announced a donation of clothing materials for 74 persons ahead of Sallah festival.
The teeming beneficiaries of the gesture included Islamic scholars, aged persons as well as some youth groups in the area.
Earlier in a closing Sermon, Sheikh Hussaini Hassan urged muslims to sustain the teachings of the Holy Qur’an learned in the Holy month of Ramadan.
“We should continue with good deeds until end of our lives”.
He called on Muslims to use Eid-El-Fitri festival to pray and seek for divine intervention to end security chalenges in the state and Nigeria in general.
Also, the Modibbon Kaura, Alhaji Sa’adu Aliyu urged parents to ensure proper monitoring of their wards.
“As parents and guardians, apart from educating our children both Islamic and Western Education, we should also teach them various skills to make them to be self reliant in future”, he noted.
Aliyu called on youths to embrace entrepreneurship and skills for them to avoid risk of future unemployment.
“Youths as leaders of tomorrow, we must reduce over dependincy on white collar jobs. The youth must utilize every opportunity available in the society build their future,” he noted.
In their separate remarks, the two district heads of Kaura Namoda Emirate, the Barayar Zaki-Kaura, Alhaji Sama’ila Moyi, Sarkin-Mafara Sarkin-Baura, Alhaji Ahmed Isah commended Gabdon Kaura for giving good orientation to the youths.
The traditional rulers called on muslims to intensify prayers against insecurity and sustainable peace and stability.
Also speaking, the Secretary to the Mosque and Tafsir Committee, Alhaji Yusuf Usman Bulaman Kaura expressed gratitude to Allah for witnessing the holy month of Ramadan.
Bulama, a retired Permanent Secretary to Zamfara State Government appreciated members of the committee for their hard work, support and cooperation which led to the success of the Ramadan Tafsir.
He commended the Islamic Scholars for teaching the holy book in the holy month of Ramadan.
“This is the seventh Ramadan Tafsir that was hosted in this mosque.
“We always appreciate Hon. Gabdon Kaura and members of this mosque committee for their support and cooperation.
Other islamic scholars who graced the occasion were Chairman Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area, Alhaji Sama’ila Halilu, Malam Yahaya Abdullahi Hidaya and Malam Jamalu Zakariyya among others.
