Zamfara: ZSUBEB Vows To Improve Quality Education

Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board (ZSUBEB) has equipped the board’s Quality Assurance Department with 3 brand new laptops, 10 Samsung Galaxy tablets, 4 new motorcycles for the 4 local government Quality Assurance Officers to enable them operate efficiently.
The facilities were officially launched and distributed by the Executive Chairman, Prof. Nasir Garba Anka at the board’s headquarters in Gusau, the state capital.
Professor Anka, said the guesture was part of efforts to improve working condition for the staff of the department as well as to conform with the present digital era.
The Chairman added that, the move was in tandem with the education policy and revolution of the state Governor, Dauda Lawal.
He maintained that the gesture was also a deliberate attempt towards better manpower service delivery.
He also commended the efforts of Governor Dauda Lawal for his support and concern for the development of education, especially Basic Education in the state.
He further expressed appreciation with the Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC Abuja for its support and concern to the board aimed at achieving brighter basic education in the state.
He charged the personnel of the beneficiary department to use the facilities judiciously, and should avoid unnecessary usage as well as mismanagement.
Prof. Anka assured staff of the board of his support , training and retraining, urging them to dedicate themselves to their duties effectively.
Earlier, the acting Director Quality Assurance of the board, Malam Sani Muhammad Jangebe, commended the Chairman for the timely support and encouragement he has been giving to the staffers, assuring him that the items will be utilized as expected.
