2027:CityBoy Movement Urges Members To Promote President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

Ahead of the 2027 general elections,the Director-General of the CityBoy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga,has urged members of the movement to work hard to sell the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Shoga made the call at the Town Hall, Retreat Engagement and inauguration of the Kano State chapter of the movement held in Kano on Monday.
He asked them to use their energy as young men and women to visit the grassroot areas of the country to promote the Tinubu administration’s Reform Agenda that is turning around things for the good of the country.
“There are a lot of people out there that need to hear the message of Renewed Hope of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.That is why Kano State is inaugurating this structure today,” he said.
The Director-General also urged the Kano State chapter of the movement to work hard to expand its membership so as to boost the volume of the campaign for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
In her remarks, the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory(FCT),Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, said the CityBoy Movement is a platform that is about coming together and engaging the youth and mobilisation from the grassroots towards the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
“The most important and the purpose of this movement is for us to come together and re-elect his Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
“As we said, there is no vacancy in the Villa till 2031.I want to also say that there will be no vacancy in the Villa even after 2031, because it will be APC from top to bottom,” Bunkure said.
According to the Minister, President Tinubu has done a lot for the country, especially the North-West where she hails from,and therefore deserves re-election in 2027.
Earlier, the Kano State Director of the movement,Hon.Nasiru Bala Aminu Ja’oji, said the strength of any movement depends on the quality of its leadership and the effectiveness of its structures, the commitment of its members, and its ability to mobilize people towards a common objective.
“That is why today’s sessions are extremely important. We must discuss openly how to strengthen our leadership structures, improve grassroots mobilization, expand our reach across the Local Government Areas and communities of Kano State, and develop strategies that will make the CITYBOY Movement stronger, more coordinated, and more effective.
“As leaders and members of this Movement, we must understand that leadership is not merely about occupying positions. It is about responsibility, service, coordination, and the ability to inspire others.
“I, therefore, encourage everyone to participate actively in today’s discussions. Let us share ideas, identify our challenges, learn from one another, and develop practical solutions that can be implemented when we return to our respective zones and Local Government Areas.
“Our objective must be clear: to build a strong, united, disciplined, and effective grassroots structure capable of delivering the objectives of the CITYBOY Movement and contributing meaningfully to the political development of our communities and our great party,” Ja’oji said.
He commended the chapter’s Zonal and Local Government officials for their commitment,adding that, “The real work begins from the grassroots, and your roles are critical to the success of this movement.”
