By Our reporter
The Kano State Fire Service has lodged a complaint of alleged inflammatory/defamatory posting on social media(Facebook) against one,Abdulwahab Sa’idu Ahmed, with the state Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC).
An invitation letter from the NSCDC was addressed to Ahmed asking him to appear before DCC Mukhtar Yahaya,HOD Intelligence and Investigation, for an interview over the matter.
According to the letter,he is to avail himself for the interview tomorrow, Monday, at the command’s headquarters,Kwankwasiyya Modern City, along Zaria Road,on Monday.
Speaking to our reporter on the issue, Ahmed said the State Fire Service dragged him to the NSCDC because of a video clip he circulated on his social media handle calling on the Kano State Government to give a special attention to the service by providing it with enough working equipment.
According to him,he had made similar appeal to the state government to provide a new fire service vehicle for the Government House, and that the Governor granted the request.
“By God’s grace I will appear for the interview tomorrow,as requested,” Ahmed added.
