From Abdullahi Alhassan, Kaduna
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Kaduna State has released the results of its Senatorial District primary elections, alongside the House of Representatives and select State House of Assembly contests.
The announcement positions the party’s candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections, as the ADC continues to gain traction as the platform adopted by the growing opposition coalition.
The results were presented at a press conference in Kaduna by the Kaduna State Primary Elections Committee, chaired by Dr. Ladan Salihu.
Speaking to journalists, Dr. Salihu explained that the presidential and governorship primaries had already been concluded. The latest declaration, he said, covered federal and state legislative races conducted across the various constituencies.
According to him, every aspirant listed as a winner in the committee’s release has been duly elected and now stands as the ADC’s candidate for the 2027 polls.
“This is to certify that all aspirants contained in this release are duly elected as winners of the various primary elections. They are consequently declared as candidates of the African Democratic Congress Party in the 2027 elections,” Dr. Salihu stated.
