AMG foundation invests N1 million in BUK Youth Assembly

Aminu Magashi Foundation (AMG), a non-governmental organization, has recently announced a significant investment of one million naira to support the Bayero University, Kano Old Site Youth Assembly.

The announcement was made by Malam Jalo Sulaiman, the Director of Operations of the Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation, during the 6th Annual Symposium/Lecture Series of the BUK Old Site Youth Assembly, held at the Mahmud Tukur Theatre B Old Campus, BUK.

Speaking to reporters, Jalo Sulaiman revealed that the funds would be utilized over a 12-month period to support various programs.

“These initiatives include youth skills acquisition, the payment of annual premiums for the National Health Insurance Scheme for vulnerable individuals, and the sponsorship of a youth to undertake an apprenticeship program at the AMG Foundation mini farm house located at Dan Bare, behind BUK New Site” he said.

Representing Dr. Aminu Magashi at the event, Nasir Magashi explained that the foundation is committed to furthering youth engagement and providing continuous support to the BUK Old Site Youth Assembly.

PRIME TIME NEWS gathered that this recent investment follows a few months after the AMG Foundation supported the youth skills acquisition program of the BUK Old Site Youth Assembly by sponsoring three female youths in learning modern makeup techniques.

Additionally, the foundation provided support to two male youths by supplying them with industrial sewing machines valued at five hundred thousand naira.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the “Philanthropy & Support Award” to Dr. Aminu Magashi in recognition of his exceptional contributions.

The award ceremony also honored Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the Secretary to the State Government of Kano, and Dr. Yakasai for their noteworthy achievements and commitment to philanthropy.
