BKD Chairman lauds Gov Namadi for Multi – Million Solar Boreholes project in Masaya

The executive chairman Birnin Kudu local government in Jigawa state, Muhammad Uba Builder has commended governor Malam Umar Namadi for locating N8.15 million solar powered Boreholes project in Masaya village area of the local government.

Builder expressed the commendation while delivering his remarks at the flag-off ceremony of the project held on Friday at the Village area.

He described the project as transformative initiative that would ensure a sustainable and uninterrupted water supply for the entire people and Birnin Kudu environment .

“I extend our deepest appreciation to his Excellency for selecting Birnin Kudu as one of the beneficiaries of this groundbreaking project, the governor’s unwavering commitment to equitable development across the state exemplifies visionary leadership and dedication to the welfare of all communities.

The chairman maintained that, under governor Namadi’s inspiring twelve-point agenda, Birnin Kudu has embraced five critical focus areas: water supply and human capital development, education, health, agriculture, peace and security, and youth empowerment.

According to him, in alignment with his policies, Birnin Kudu have made significant strides in these sectors to uplift the lives of our people.
In education, the launched of “BTeach” initiative, employing 300 National Certificate of Education (NCE) holders to bridge critical gaps in our schools.

“In healthcare, we have employed 200 young individuals – exceeding our initial target of 120 – to address the growing demand for quality healthcare services. This bold step not only improves healthcare delivery but also provides meaningful employment to our youth, showcasing our commitment to your agenda of prioritising human capital development”, he said.

While speaking on Agriculture, he said 40 Youths were engaged in dry farming activities, setting the foundation for sustainable agricultural practices as well as collaborating closely with security agencies to ensure the safety and stability of our residents.
